This is Amie. She went to high school with me in Ohio, now lives in Canada, but was in New York for an improv comedy festival in the summer of 2012. I met up with her at an Irish pub in the part of Manhattan that is basically a wasteland for good bars, and after that we went to this place. A bar on the deck of some building featuring overpriced drinks, and an absolutely fantastic view of the Empire State Building. I couldn't even tell you where this place is, and I've never been back since, but it sure was a great place to nurse a drink, catch up with an old friend, and meet all of her Canadian comedy folks.
