This may look like an iPod ad circa 2005, but it's really a picture from yet another race I ran, the Electric Run. Basically a night time 5K ran with glowsticks with music and psychedelic, glowing shit at various points along the course. Ending in a dance party. I ran this with Leah, Anne, and Kathleen from work, and even though I usually hate races as crowded as this one the general party atmosphere made it quite fun. The EDM show at the end would have been more fun had more people been dancing, but alas it was mostly people staring forward at the stage, pogoing during hooks, and trying to catch more glow sticks that were being thrown out into the crowd. I don't know if I'd stick around for the dance bit again, but if I could get a group together I would definitely run the race a second time.
